IS Sun Myung Moon part of the crime family that owns the Bush family?
South Korean theocrat Sun Myung Moon has long boasted of his ability to "hook" politicians by putting money into their pockets and into their political machines. But Moon's most important catch may have come from the millions of dollars sunk into the powerful Bush family -- and the subsequent lack of U.S. interest in evidence of Moon's criminal activities.
For the full story of how Rev. Moon has planted his hook in the mouths of the Bush family and other prominent Republicans, go to Consortiumnews.com at

Estrogen dominance, women's problems, amenorrhea, and menopause

Excessive estrogens and stagnation of blood circulation are the major cause of most women's problems including breast, uterine and ovarian cancers. According to Dr. John R. Lee in his book "What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Menopause: the Breakthrough Book on Natural Progesterone" (Warner Books, 1996), estrogen dominance is the cause of most women's chronic health problems. We are living in a polluted world where estrogens are present in almost every type of food that we eat. Since the liver is the organ that removes estrogens, a weak liver that fails to remove estrogens efficiently may lead to their accumulation for liver cleansing and strengthening. When excessive estrogens become trapped in the uterus, ovary, or breast due to stagnation, they over stimulate cell division and lead to abnormal growth such as fibroids, cysts or cancer in these organs. Estrogens may also be accumulated in the brain or liver because they both have estrogen receptors.

PMS

A common woman's problem, PMS, is usually caused by high estrogen to progesterone ratio; the estrogen level may not be high in absolute value but is high relative to progesterone. The common symptoms of PMS such as mood swings, depression and bloating are all signs of estrogen dominance. Evening Primrose oil, which contains estrogenic activity, is a popular supplement for PMS sufferers. It offers quick relief for PMS symptoms but long-term use may aggravate the problems. Most people don't realize this. A PMS sufferer who had been taking evening primrose oil for 4 years came to see me. Her thighs were swollen with water retention due to excessive estrogens. After I told her to stop taking evening primrose oil, her swollen thighs became normal in about a month's time.

Amenorrhea - Absence or Abnormal Stoppage of Menstruation

Amenorrhea may be associated with congenital abnormalities, pituitary insufficiency, metabolic diseases (thyroid dysfunction, diabetes, adrenal hyperplasic), undernourishment, and anemia, wasting diseases, severe infections or hormone abnormalities - the most common cause in our modern way of living.

"The administration of large amounts of estrogen prevents menstruation for a long period of time"

Other than estrogens in meat and dairy products, pesticide sprays (environmental estrogens) on fruits and vegetables also mimic estrogens in our bodies when ingested. As a result, hormonal abnormalities have become a major issue for amenorrhea nowadays. A weak liver that fails to eliminate all these ingested estrogens is often responsible for hormonal abnormalities.

Su Jok Therapy application has been used successfully to induce menstruation by cleansing the liver and stimulation of the main correspondence painful zone and eliminating estrogens more efficiently. A patient had no period for 18 months. She had her period in 15 days after she started using "Su Jok Therapy". Another young woman in Ontario, Canada had no period for 3 years. She used "Su Jok Therapy" her period started in 5 days. The liver eliminates estrogens through bile and urine. Being an effective bile flow stimulator, Su Jok Therapy helps the liver to eliminate estrogen more efficiently by carrying more estrogens out of the body through bile.

Chinese view of insomnia and depression

We always need a lot of sleep from the days of our teenage years although we have no problem falling asleep in those days. We need too much sleep but we never felt refreshed. Looking back, we realize that too much sleep and yet never being able to feel refreshed is an early sign of liver and spleen weakness. As the years went by, in our late 30's, we have problems falling asleep and would wake up several times every night. We are told that is part of the aging process.

According to Chinese medicine chronic sleep disorders are usually caused by Yin-Yang imbalance resulting from weak liver, spleen, heart or kidneys. Since these organs affect one another, they all have to be taken care of, especially the heart and the liver. According to Chinese medicine, the liver filters all our blood through the night, especially between 1-3 am. A weak or congested liver means that it has to struggle through the night. Poor quality sleep or even insomnia may result in more severe cases.

With our organs healthier, they are more in harmony. We sleep well now and rarely have to get up at night even though we approach to old age i.e. 60yrs and so on. Best of all We feel refreshed in the morning. For people with sleep problems, taking the Chinese herbal

A 57-year old man came to see me a few years ago with sleep problem. He took painkillers regularly for 6 years for his pain after a car accident. He woke up every morning at around 2 am. He had no more problems sleeping after cleansing and detoxifying his liver with Su Jok Acupuncture in addition to daily morning exercise.

Depression, a common symptom from stress, is an indication of blocked liver energy according to Chinese medicine. Some prescription drugs such as tranquilizers, sleeping pills, and anti-histamines are known to possibly cause depression because these medications weaken the liver. Su Jok Acupuncture is helpful for depression because it unblocks liver energy, is also helpful in stimulating energy circulation and resolving blood clots or bruises. And works better for decongest the liver.

Depression is also common among individuals who have their gallbladders removed or whose gallbladders are loaded with stones. When the gallbladder is loaded with stones, there is limited space or even no space left for bile storage. The bile that is produced in the liver ends up getting congested in the liver causing energy blockage. Anyone without a gallbladder is in the same situation. Bile is forced to stay and become congested in the liver leading to depression.

A good example of how depression can be caused and cured would be a 31-year old man who suffered from depression for years. He took a lot of antibiotics as a child for his tonsillitis (most medications, including antibiotics, tend to weaken the liver). By the time he was in school he was hyperactive and was prescribed Ritalin. At age 25, he became very depressed and was on various anti-depressant medications for 5 years, to no avail. At 31, he started with Chinese Bitters and Curcuma first. When he experienced significant relief in his symptoms in only a few weeks, he decided to do the complete program of liver and gallbladder cleansing. His depression never returned after he cleansed his liver and gallbladder.

There was also a case of a 62-year-old woman. She woke up one morning feeling very depressed. She tried Y-Dan exercises and her depression went away. I explained to her that her depression must have been caused by her "blocked liver energy" (to use the Chinese medicine terminology) due to blood retention in her liver. Y-Dan exercises helped her to clear this congestion, improve her general blood circulation, and unblock her liver energy.

According to Chinese medicine, the liver works hard at night to filter the blood. A substantial amount of blood may be retained in the liver upon waking in the morning if the liver is sluggish. Therefore, morning exercises will help get this blood moving and "activate" the liver. It does not have to be any particular kind of exercise, so long as it involves a lot of deep breathing and stretching. Y-Dan is an example of a low-impact morning exercise that meets these criteria.

How To Recognize Asthma Symptoms?

                                      by Bjorn Gutter

Asthma is a continuing inflammatory disorder that makes airways (bronchial tubes) especially tender to irritants, and this is characterized by problems in breathing.

Asthma symptoms include:

* Coughing. Coughing in individuals with asthma is frequently worse at night or early in the morning, making it difficult for them to sleep.

* Wheezing. Wheezing is a whistling or squeaky noise when you breathe.

* A tight perception in the chest. This can feel like someone is squeezing or sitting on your chest.

* Shortness of breath. Asthma sufferers regularly say they can't capture their breath, or they feel out of breath or out of breath. They feel like you can't get sufficient air in or out of their lungs.

* Episodes of wheezy problems in breathing.

* Faster breathing or loud breathing.

* Narrowing of the air passages in the lungs and thus increased obstruction to airflow.

* fast and great changes in airway obstruction (peak flow modification greater or equal to 20%)

* regular nocturnal episodes and low morning peak flow values

* important reversibility with drugs which correspond to adrenaline, the beta2 agonists

* noteworthy reversibility with steroid drugs

* Symptom-free periods

* Frequent happening of allergy

* Inflammation of the air passages, characterised by eosinophils in the airway wall

* Bronchial hyper-responsiveness to non-specific stimuli such as chill air or histamine.

People with asthma may have:

* Wheezing when they have a cold or other disorder

* Frequent coughing, specially at night (sometimes this is the single indication of asthma in a child)

* Asthma symptoms brought on by exercises such as running, biking, or other brisk action, especially during chilly weather

* Coughing or wheezing brought on by prolonged crying or laughing

* Coughing or wheezing when they are near an allergen or irritant.

Not all people have these symptoms, and symptoms may change from one asthma attack to another. Symptoms can also diverge in how rigorous they are. For instance, occasionally symptoms can be mildly annoying and at other times they can be serious enough to make you discontinue what you are doing, and sometimes symptoms can be so grave that they are life menacing and you need to get medical attention. Symptoms also differ in how frequently they occur.

Some individuals with asthma just have symptoms once every few months, others have symptoms every week, and still other people have symptoms every day. With appropriate treatment and control, still, most people
with asthma can foresee to have minimum or no symptoms, and can conduct dynamic, regular lives.

At a Glance...Asthma Symptoms

* Asthma is a continuing inflaming disorder that makes airways (bronchial tubes) particularly delicate to irritants, and this is characterized by difficulty in breathing.

* The prime symptoms of asthma contain coughing, especially at night, wheezing, a tight sensation in the chest, and shortness of breath.

* The symptoms may diversify from person to person, and they may also change in severity and how frequently they happen.

* With appropriate treatment and management, most people will lead active, normal lives.

Dear friends,

"Our Deepest Fear" by Marianne Williamson (often mistakenly cited as a Nelson Mandela quote) and a poem titled "The Invitation" by Oriah Mountain Dreamer are two of the most inspiring writings available. Even if you've read them before, read them slowly now and breath this inspiring wisdom into the depths of your soul. Consider also sharing this highly inspirational quote and poem with your friends and colleagues.

Our Deepest Fear
By Marianne Williamson

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness
That most frightens us.

We ask ourselves
Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.

Your playing small
Does not serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking
So that other people won't feel insecure around you.

We are all meant to shine,
As children do.
We were born to make manifest
The glory of God that is within us.

It's not just in some of us;
It's in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine,
We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we're liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.

Note: This inspiring quote is taken from Marianne Williamson's book A Return to Love. Though often quoted as part of Nelson Mandela's moving inaugural speech, "Our Deepest Fear" does not appear in the speech.

The Invitation
By Oriah Mountain Dreamer

It doesn't interest me what you do for a living.
I want to know what you ache for,
And if you dare to dream of meeting
Your heart's longing.

It doesn't interest me how old you are.
I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool
For love, for your dreams,
For the adventure of being alive.

It doesn't interest me what planets are squaring your moon.
I want to know if you have touched the center of your own sorrow,
If you have been opened by life's betrayals,
Or have become shriveled and closed from fear of further pain.

I want to know if you can sit with pain,
Mine or your own,
Without moving
To hide it or fade it or fix it.

I want to know if you can be with joy,
Mine or your own,
If you can dance with wildness and let the ecstasy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes
Without cautioning us to be careful, be realistic, or to remember the limitations of being human.

I want to know if you can see beauty
Even when it is not pretty every day,
And if you can source your life
From God's presence.

I want to know if you can live with failure,
Yours and mine,
And still stand on the edge of a lake and shout to the silver of the full moon,
"Yes!"

It doesn't interest me to know where you live or how much money you have.
I want to know if you can get up after the night of grief and despair,
Weary and bruised to the bone,
And do what needs to be done for the children.

It doesn't interest me who you are, how you came to be here.
I want to know if you will stand
In the center of the fire with me
And not shrink back.

It doesn't interest me where or what or with whom you have studied.
I want to know what sustains you
From the inside
When all else falls away.

I want to know if you can be alone
With yourself,
And if you truly like the company you keep
In the empty moments.

Note: The poem "The Invitation" is available in Oriah Mountain Dreamer's book The Invitation.

What is perfect body pH?
One of the most important processes in your body is the process by which the pH balance is maintained. Body pH measures the number of hydrogen ions in solution within the body. The pH scale ranges from 0-14 with <6.4 acidic and >6.4 alkaline for body fluid, not including blood which is a normal 7.3 pH. An acidic pH has a low ability to attract hydrogen ions, while an alkaline solution has a high ability to attract hydrogen ions. "p" stands for potential and "H" stands for hydrogen; henceforth, the potential of the body to attract hydrogen ions to secure balance and health.

Why is balanced pH important?
Your body pH is something you must not ignore if you wish to maintain perfect health, regain lost immunity, or maintain proper weight. The farther away from perfect balance pH travels, the more serious health problems may develop and the more difficult it may be to maintain proper weight.
The body has a specific pH value. In fact, each of the body fluids has a specific pH value. The blood, for example, has a more alkaline pH balance averaging between 7.1 and 7.4. The saliva and urine are more acidic, averaging between 6.4 and 6.6.

http://www.seaflow.org/downloads/healingartsevent.pdf

We are holding SEAFLOW's annual benefit jewelry sale at the beautiful Healing Arts Center in Stinson Beach on Saturday, June 17th from 2 to 6 pm. A five-minute practice, Whale Heart Qi Gong, will be taught at 4pm.

Come play with members of the SEAFLOW pod and peruse the glorious earrings, necklaces, bracelets and anklets that SEAFLOW's co-founder, Vivienne Verdon-Roe, has been busy making for your delight. This year, she has reduced her prices so her jewelry is even more affordable, and 100% of the sales go to our work to protect whales and dolphins and all ocean life.

We are very grateful to Marion Weber, owner of the lovely Healing Arts Center, for her longtime support of Seaflow and for forgoing any usual commission on the sales from this event.

In addition to Vivienne's jewelry, there are inspirational books, sacred objects, unusual cards and healing goodies at the Center.

A fun-filled afternoon! Please join us. (And don?t forget to bring your friends!)

 San Francisco Oil Awareness
Presents "( Is It ) The End of the World As We Know It?"
Bay Area Artists' Views of Peak Oil and Climate Change at

Art SF at 110 Capp Street, 5th Floor
 Saturday, June 17 from 7 to 10 P.M.

Scientists, environmentalists, financiers, world leaders, politicians and the U.N. have all spoken up and warned us to prepare for the advent of Peak Oil and Climate Change.

We've all seen the images of Katrina, the Indian Ocean, Europe's arctic winter, extreme floods and droughts on every continent and the flexings of powerful muscles over oil.

Now it is time for artists to step up to the plate. For centuries, the Art World has served not only as History's illustrator, but as society's conscience and a call to arms for its citizenry.

We are looking for serious/poignant/hopeful/tragic/personal/global views of the changes our planet and society shall be undergoing as the twin crises of peak oil and climate change overtake us.

While we are not necessarily looking for epic works of art (allowed, nevertheless), we do believe that these are two of the most serious issues facing humanity in the 21st Century. We are seeking the thoughtful works of Bay Area Artists that express this understanding.

The material in this show will be new to many and for some, a shock. It's tantamount to telling a child there is no Santa. We are not, however, looking for the merely sensational, but for informative, educational, emotional, and yes, humorous art. ( Not TOO black, please. We're talking about people's dreams and futures here.)

As many pieces as we have space for shall be included.

Gallery Bar, track lighting, sound system, wooden floor, tall window wall, large service elevator.

Set-up 7 - 10 P.M. Thursday, June 15 & Friday, June 16th. Ladder, Lights & Water available. Please provide your own fasteners and hammers, screwdrivers.

Publicity Art SF and San Francisco Oil Awareness have extensive mailing lists and shall be providing publicity throughout the Bay Area.

Location: McLaren Lodge - Golden Gate Park
Stanyan and Fell, San Francisco, CA View Map
When: Sunday, June 18, 12:00pm
Phone: 415.346.7625
Did you know the middle B in BBQ stands for biking? This short cycling trip is an easy, 16 mile cycle through Golden Gate Park, along the Ocean, pass the zoo and around Lake Merced and back. Pass up the initial meeting spot on the way back (leave your car parked if you wish or if necessary) and extend your trip by a mile to enjoy wonderful BBQ at The Ladies of 1326 house. Bike parking plenty under the backyard stairs.

What To Bring: Bike (duh), Helmit, water bottle, gatorade, snack, spare tube or patch kit

About Outdoors Explored -
Outdoors Explored is a personal project of mine. It was born from my love of outdoors and my frustration with my fitness "seeming" that I could not be active any more in the sports I love - hiking and cycling. So outdoors explored is me taking on the life I have always wanted and inspiring others to do the same. Based in the core of a love of nature, outdoors, beauty, grace and fun. Outdoors explored will offer day, overnight trips, weekend and week long trips starting in June through November and beyond.

These trips are not for those who want to be inspired or those who can inspire. These trips are for EVERYONE. Those leading the way, those who are ready to take lead of their life, and those already on the way. But mostly it is for those who want to have FUN outdoors. I will be organizing the trips with anyone who want to help. There will be at least 2 events per month which increase in intensity and fun along the way. My personal goal is to get in shape to hike Half-Dome (at Yosemite, 17 miles, 4800') by mid - October. As a group we can support each other goals and have fun doing it. There is no commitment to go on every trip or even more than one. I am putting this out to my community of friends and look forward to connecting with you and meeting new people along the way. There is no fee to participate, just any fees that national, state, county and city parks, ferries, restaurants, or bars will charge us. So start getting ready, pull your shoes out of the closet, dust off your bike, and let's head out of the city into the wilderness. Find information about upcoming trip on http://www.myspace.com/moneak1
BEWARE Myspace was bought Ruppert Murdoch / FOX News / Faux News. Can't trust it!

John Gibler, a Global Exchange human rights fellow in Mexico who has been covering the Zapatistas' Other Campaign since January 1st, will speak on the Other Campaign and present two short documentaries on the May 4th massive police raid in San Salvador Atenco. Gibler was present in Atenco and has since conducted scores of interviews with victims and witnesses. He collaborated with both documentaries which include direct film footage from Atenco as well as photographs, interviews, and archival footage. Each documentary is about 40 minutes long in Spanish with English subtitles. They show the incredible and systematic use of police brutality in Atenco, breaking the information blackhole enforced by major US media in their refusal to cover the violence or analyze its political nature.

# Election Reform Event in SF - Tues, June 20, 7pm (financial district)

Reply to: jennyhammo@yahoo.com
Date: 2006-06-14, 12:46PM PDT

Don't miss a fun and informative evening hosted by
DemocracyAction featuring some of California's
strongest Election Reform leaders:

DemocracyAction Election Reform Event
Tuesday, June 20, 7:00pm
Schroeder's Restaurant
240 Front Street (at Sacramento)
San Francisco, CA

Good news. The Election Reform movement is gaining
momentum in the mainstream media. Robert Kennedy, Jr.
just came out with a scathing article in Rolling Stone
about the 2004 election:
http://www.rollingstone.com/news/story/10432334/was_the_2004_election_stolen

Do you want to know what you can do to help ensure
that every vote is counted? And how you can support
"clean money" for our elections in California?

Get the answers from this most exceptional panel of
speakers:

1) Senator Debra Bowen (Dem Candidate for Secretary of
State!)

Senator Bowen has served in the State Legislature
since 1992, and has been a strong advocate for
consumer protection, privacy rights, and open
government. She is currently the Chair of the Senate
Elections Committee and has been treasured leader
among election reform activists across the country.

Read more:
http://www.debrabowen.com/

2) Lowell Finley, Voter Action

Lowell is the lead attorney on the lawsuit to remove
Diebold's voting machines from our polling places.
"We can't have trustworthy elections with Diebold's
touch-screen voting machines."

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/n/a/2006/03/21/politics/p202456S81.DTL

3) Trent Lange, VP of the California Clean Money
Campaign

Governor Schwarzenegger has a goal of raising 75
million dollars to win the governor's race this year.
Good people without access to big money can simply not
compete in this climate. As a result, we are not
getting the best candidates, but instead are getting
candidates indebted to their big contributors. The
system is out of wack. Trent will talk about the
status of the clean money campaign and how you can
help.

Despite limits, big donations to independent groups
keep cost of running for governor high

# What's Happening to the Polar Bears?
How Climate Change is Starting to Affect Wildlife

Come hear Dr. Lara Hansen Chief Scientist for the World Wildlife Fund

Monday, June 26 - 7 - 8:30 pm
First Presbyterian Church 1140 Cowper St., Palo Alto

Recently, disquieting news from Arctic wildlife experts has described how polar bears are reacting to changes in their food supply which scientists believe are due to global climate change. Dr. Lara Hansen, chief scientist of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Climate Change Program, will present a slide-illustrated talk describing what's happening to polar bears and other Arctic life, as well as how global warming is affecting coral reefs and other ecologically sensitive areas around the planet.

Dr. Hansen will also explain conservation strategies that can buy more time for endangered species - and what Californians can do to slow the pace of global warming.

Tickets for the talk are $5, available at the door. Sponsored by Acterra, the Loma Prieta Chapter of the Sierra Club, and World Wildlife Fund, the program will include time for audience questions.

Based on research findings, Dr. Hansen predicts that climate change may surpass the impact of deforestation, causing the extinction of more than one million species in the next 50 years. Dr. Hansen's work focuses on how to increase the resilience of ecosystems, and she will explain how the WWF's efforts are influencing trends in conservation and society, creating successful multifaceted approaches to address the challenge of global warming.

For more information about this program, contact Ellen Wilkinson at library@acterra.org or call (650) 962-9876 x306.

It would be nice to be visible to as many pedestrians and motorists as possible while
offending/ delaying as few motorists as possible.

July 2006

# July 2006 is the month to Bring the War Home to cities across the
nation with Direct Action and Civil Disobedience to shut down all metropolitan
areas. Then organizers from around the world will converge on DC August
10th through the 14th to confront the true war machine.

SHUT DOWN DC: August 10th through 14th, 2006. There will be massive
decentralized direct action against all government and corporate
entities.

The vast majority of government and corporate war profiteers are based
in DC, and its time they experience war first hand. Let's bring the war to
their homes, their offices, their parties and everywhere else they go.

As long as there is a war abroad, we must also have a war at home. With
the Iran war looming, the Iraq war lingering, and dozens of other wars
raging, it is long past time to bring the war home.

With thousands expected to descend on our fair city, mass housing, free
vegan food, and a convergence space will all be available. Mark your
calendars, tell your friends, plan to come to DC August 10th through
14th, 2006.

More information and details will be coming, and our website should be
up soon. Keep checking back for more details. In the meantime email

# July 15 - Day of Action against Climate Change and G8 - EF! Call to Action!
A call to action from Earth First! Climate Caucus and Rising Tide North America
July 15th 2006 -- Direct Action for Climate Justice

  International Day of Direct Action
against Climate Change and the G8
 Rise Up Against G8 Policies
Target Fossil Fuel Industries in Your Town or Bioregion

On July 15th, the "Group of 8" (G8) richest industrialized countries will gather in St. Petersburg, Russia to plot their continued commodification and domination of the planet, this time under the banner of "Energy Security." A leaked G8 "Communique on Energy Security" calls for trillions of dollars in new investments in oil, gas and coal production worldwide, plus wide-scale global expansion of nuclear energy. With runaway climate change* looming just over the horizon, such neoliberal business-as-usual poses a direct threat to the continuation of life on Earth as we know it. Resistance is self defense. The G8 agenda promotes petroleum-dependent "Energy Security" that pollutes our land and atmosphere, ravages poor and indigenous communities, and scorches the Earth's climate. Their recipe for disaster must be met with our global resistance!

July 15th will be an International Day of Action Against Climate Change. As G8 energy ministers promise trillions in new subsidies to the industries destroying our planet and our future, we will take action to shut them down! This is a call for autonomous, decentralized actions appropriate for your town, city, or bioregion. Use this international day of action to support local struggles against oil refineries, gas pipelines, strip mines and coal-fired power plants. Disrupt the financial backers of the fossil fuel industry. Host teach-ins to spread sustainable post-petroleum living skills. Find a weak point in the infrastructure of resource exploitation and throw a literal or symbolic wrench in the works. Visit your local polluters and give 'em hell!

The July 15th International Day of Action Against Climate Change is being mobilized by Rising Tide North America, a new network initiated in the US by the Earth First! Climate Caucus, with inspiration and support from the UK's vibrant Rising Tide direct action movement for climate justice and against climate change. Rising Tide North America is actively mobilizing July 15th actions in local bioregions, as well as reaching out to environmental justice, climate action and radical sustainability movements in all of the G8 countries plus the Global South.

Rising Tide North America is building a large collection of outreach and agit-prop materials that can be used by groups around the continent (and the world) to organize locally. These materials will be downloadable from http://www.reclaimthecommons.net and from the website of Rising Tide North America (comin' soon).

Join the Rising Tide North America network, and tell us about July 15th actions against climate change being planned in your community or bioregion! Contact us at efclimatecaucus@wildmail.com.

*19 of the 20 hottest years on record have occurred since 1980. Islands in the South Pacific are already evacuating due to rising sea levels. Storms and hurricanes are growing more severe. Polar bears are drowning as their icy habitat breaks apart and drifts out to sea. Greenland and Antarctica are melting. Everyday we spew more greenhouse gases burned from fossil fuels into the atmosphere; everyday we are one step closer to what scientists refer to as "the tipping point," on the verge of catastrophic and irreversible climate chaos.
